Course Goals

Improve Academic Performance

With the amount of work that HSC Math covers, the final year of high school can be very stressful. However, with YGA's guidance, students will deepen their understanding in all the topics and have the ability to apply the concepts learnt to challenging questions in their assessments to improve their academic performance.

Build Confidence and Resilience

The concepts learnt in Year 12, especially the HSC can often be daunting for students. However, YGA mentors aim to support students every step of the way and build their confidence so that they feel like they can tackle any obstacle in their HSC and beyond high school!

Appreciate the Applications of Mathematics

Students often fail to see the relevance of maths topics in real life. However, we have made it our goal to show how much rates, ratios, loans, annuities and data analysis are regularly utilised to make informed decisions in students personal and work life to allow students to further appreciate what they're learning in the classroom.

Reviews

I have tried other tutoring centers and YGA has been the only one that really understands me on a personal level. The tutors went above and beyond and took time off their own schedule outside of class to chat with me when I was worried about my marks and this really helped with my stress.

I always look forward to coming here after a long day of school. I always feel welcomed and never feel judged for asking any questions or help with my assignments or assessments. Being able to have comfortable friendly chats and still learn with my peers and tutors is a great feeling so i recommend for everyone to try them out!

The communal environment has enhanced the way in which learning takes place and made it more enjoyable to learn from there. I highly recommend this place for everyone who’s not only looking to excel in their studies, but also be part of a community that makes learning a truly positive and fulfilling experience.
