Learning how to think and communicate creatively and analytically will become a difficult task in senior school if a strong foundation is not built in Year 7. As a result, our mentors are responsible in providing our students with the necessary skills to achieve their desired marks in English.
From Year 7, it is vital for students to adopt an open and curious mindset to get the most out of English and their time in high school. In our Year 7 English course, YGA tutors inspire and motivate students to strive for continuous improvement, and ensure that students know that they are supported as they learn.
By connecting with students in their early days of high school, we lead them to appreciate English as a subject in which they learn to express themselves and explore their place in the world. While helping them develop creative and critical thinking skills, we nurture their love for learning which will shape their future in school and beyond.
Module 1: Introduction to Reading Texts
