Many students have difficulty improving in English as they find that the assessment requirements and grading system are quite vague. Our tutors guide students through each HSC Advanced English module, filling in the gaps in their understanding and breaking down the steps they need to take to maximise their marks.
We provide quality feedback and encouraging advice to hone students' strengths and help them address their weaknesses. Our Year 12 Advanced English course is designed to give students the confidence and practice they need to master all forms of writing and perform under the pressure of the HSC.
Students are often demotivated when it comes to English as it is a highly abstract subject which may not translate directly to the real world. By highlighting the logic and thought behind English, we teach students valuable skills which will support them beyond school, including critical thinking, creativity and communication.

With an ATAR of 98.7, Vivian enjoys applying what she had learnt from her Bachelor’s degree of Commerce (majoring in information systems) and Computer Science to the academy, both in management and giving students insight as to why English is crucial in real life: “It gives you the ability to be heard by others!”
